About Me  

Hi! I'm Kate Dockham, owner and creator at Kissed By Kate Quilts. My husband and I live in Loudon, New Hampshire with our dog, Princess Leia. We have one son, Danny, who lives and works in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Danny and his fiancé Ashley share their apartment with 2 bunnies, Clover and Basil.

I have always told stories. When I was 10 I dreamed of becoming a famous author. At 25, I walked into my first elementary classroom and over the next 30 years I would read the words of great authors to my students. One of the best compliments I ever received was when a parent said to me, "my daughter became a reader in your classroom." I knew I had done my job. Now I tell stories in a different way. I tell them in color and shape, texture and line. I tell the stories of my clients. I may tell of a moment, a day, a lifetime, but it is in the telling that brings me joy.
